Early petite midcentury Danish Modern drop-leaf dining table in teak designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen, with two early three-leg Ant chairs that came/come with it. The table is perfect for small spaces. The table is in original condition. It is in nice shape considering the age – the top has a few faint scratches and light drink rings, with oxidation on the legs and feet. It has the original rubber leg boots with heavy oxidation under the original rubber boots at the leg feet. FH stamp and Danish Control label present underneath the table & chairs. The tabletop is a uniform color – any variation is due to lighting/shading. For more pics please ask.
The two chairs are original other than the two small veneer chips at the top front of one chair and I replaced a few shock mounts with new licensed shock mounts from Modern Conscience. Each chair is signed with the FH Fritz Hansen stamp, Danish Control labels, and Made in Denmark etchings into the metal. There is slight oxidation on the chair legs. I can clean the legs of the chairs and table if you wish, and replace the rubber legs boots. It will take extra time – but with this set – if you can live with it I’d keep it the way it is – it is a superb true early piece. If you wish for me to clean the legs and replace the rubber boots please let me know.
